Delete Account

You’re always in control of your Endearing account and can remove it at any time.

Delete in the app

The fastest way to delete your account is inside Endearing itself: open Endearing, open the profile or menu controls, choose Delete Account, and confirm.

Delete by email

If you can’t use the app, email us and we’ll process your deletion request. Include your in-app handle, display name, and any other profile details that can help us find the right account. We may ask you to verify your account before we can act on the request.

What deletion does

Deleting your account in the app removes your active account data from Endearing’s backend right away. We also automatically request deletion of the AI generation traces tied to your account from Langfuse, our tracing provider, and retry that request if it fails. Langfuse says it usually finishes deleting those traces within 15 minutes.

If you request deletion by email instead, we verify the request by hand and target completing it within 30 days.

Some information may still remain after deletion. This includes records we’re required to keep for security, fraud prevention, or other legal reasons, and backups held by our service providers, which they clear on their own disclosed retention schedules. We can only remove data that is within our control.
